HEALTH AND SPORTS CHALLENGESwimming and The Body Systems
SKELETAL SYSTEM
Swimming would be impossible without the Skeletal System. It helps us swim the strokes correctly and move and walk.
MUSCULAR SYSTEM
Swimming uses almost all the muscles in your body mainly your arms and legs. Swimming improves your ability to float.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
The digestive system gives you energy to swim. Eat to little and you will have no energy to swim. Eat to much and you’ll be full and not feel fit for exercise such as swimming.
IMMUNE SYSTEM
Your immune system protects you from chlorine water entering cuts and scrapes. So it keeps you swimming.
CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
Swimming directly affects the heart by letting the heart pump with less oxygen without over working it.
NERVOUS SYSTEM
Helps you do strokes correctly and without being hurt. (hitting the wall)
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
Without the Respiratory System you couldn’t stay underwater in that case you wouldn’t be able to swim.
