WHAT’S ON IN THE NORTH OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD

Will be providing a Christmas Day Lunch for people who are alone, homeless, lonely and isolated.
25th Dec 12.30 – 15.00pm, Elim Church, Parsonage Street, Macclesfield.
The Silk Life food bank will be closed for two weeks over Christmas. Streetwise will take on the role to cover the closure.
Collect from our shop on 72, Mill Street during opening hours 10-4, or by arrangement with myself. The people collecting will need a password if calling at the shop. The number to call to arrange for one is: 07469176811.
This is all being run by volunteers, so your patience is appreciated. Streetwise have a selection of sofas that they want to give to people in need, so if you
know of anyone, please get in touch to discuss and arrange delivery for them. 07719509061
Chiryoku Ryu - Macclesfield Dojo
2 BROOK STREET, MACCLESFUELDOn Boxing Day Chiryoku Ryu will be opening its doors to the homeless.
We are hoping to provide a safe and warm environment so that people can come and have a hot festive meal, warm drinks, a shower, haircut, change of clothes, Internet access and listening ear to provide advice on housing, drug
and alcohol use, domestic violence, etc. We will also be doing a short self defence session in the hope that it will help these people keep themselves
safe.If anyone could donate warm clothing, non-perishable foods, footwear,
toiletries, sleeping bags, blankets or anything else you would like to donate to a great cause please get in touch with Jodie Cooke Also if anyone would like to get involved and volunteer their trade or time that would be much

Birthday party – Treehouse will be celebrating a fabulous four years providing hot meals to the homeless and socially isolated in Macclesfield, the
event will be held on Sat 16th Dec, 5-7.30pm
CHRISTMAS PARTY – We will be serving a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings on 23rd December between 5-7.30pm
Just Drop-In is a free, friendly, walk-in support service for 12 – 25 year olds, no referral or appointment necessary.

PRINCES TRUST COURSES The next Prince's Trust Course begins on Monday 5th February 2018, running
from Macclesfield Fire Station. It is a 12 week personal development course for Young People (NEET) aged between 16 and 25 (they must have turned 25 by 31.08.17).
We also have some ‘Winter Warmth’ supplies, such as gloves, socks,
