Using Your A+ at OTC
It’s simple—OHS takes care of it for you as long as you request your HS transcript to go over to OTC (via Naviance). We also need for you to add the A+ Scholarship to your SENIOR SURVEY at the end of the year :D.
All you have to do is MEET all your requirements.
In order to complete your A+, there were a LOT of different requirements such as: 95% attendance
2.5 cumulative GPA
Good citizenship (staying out of big trouble)
Math requirement score (ACT, math EOCs, COMPASS)
50 Completed Tutoring Hours, etc.
FAFSA Completion
Once you complete all of the above, OHS will certify you with the state of MO as an A+ completer, and then send your HS transcript stamped with the A+ stamp over to OTC to let them know that you are A+ certified and a completer.
Other Quick Reminders…
FAFSA Completion is IMPORTANT for ALL!

REMINDER: this is a legal document—if you give false information you can be fined or go to prison—or possibly both!
You will have to provide 3 security questions to help you unlock your FSA id in case you ever forget it. Choose wisely.

Guided Self Placement
As of September 2015, OTC no longer requires students to take a placement exam in order to be eligible to take entry level English, Math, and Reading courses. Instead, students will be allowed to choose which entry level English, Math or Reading course is right for them. OTC is committed to providing students with the guidance and information they need to make appropriate self-placement decisions.
There are placement tests ONLINE on the OTC website to see if your skills/talents match up the way you believe that they do .
As a student, it is important for you to make informed and wise self-placement decisions. Inappropriate self-placement decisions may affect the time it takes you to complete your certificate or degree, and may impact your ability to receive financial aid.
