Siddiqsons stand with its commitment to ensure the environmental compliance by installing an onsibe ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) having 400,000 GPD capacity to process the effluent coming from washing laundry, spray areas and removing the chemicals beforeit is discharged.
The state of art ETP is based on Turkish Technology and its major sections are Screen canal, Pre sedimentation basin, Equalization basin, Static screen, Coagulation and flocculation bank, Chemical secimentation tank, Neutralization tank, Aeration basin, Biological sedimentation tank, Sludge thickening basin and Belt press.
It produces around 50-55 Kg/month sludge which is safely disposed off through a Hazardous Waste Management Program.

It is a laundry process that eliminates all the key elements of environmental issues resulting from denim processing. The key metric is the ability to recycle the water being used. It will use laser technology to reduce chemicals such as permanganate that goes onto garments during dry processing. This technology is also being used to eliminate scraping during dry processing which is traditionally done by hand and in turn is harmful for the environment and employees that work in these units. Additionally, it uses ozone to eliminate the chemicals in bleach so thatyou are able to pull color off the fabric.
This collaboration with Jeanlogia became very important as it brings Siddiqsons into the next level of investments that will take place in the denim industry.

The rise of fast fashion in the textile industry has led to a high level of waste generation in the sense that over consumption and disposal of garments. Therefore every year million tons of textile waste is being sent to landfills.
Despite high volume and high recycling potential of post-consumer textile waste, there is more effort to recycle pre-consumer textile waste as it is easier to sort and process.
