"Inside positioning of offensive linemen is not settled because we’ve had so many bumps and bruises— literally we’ve had eight guys rolling with the ones. All eight of them have an opportunity to start,"Molnar said. "I can tell you what five started today, but they probably won’t be the first five to startnecessarily against UConn."

Molnar said that if Stephane Milhim does not win a starting spot at tackle, he will start at guard.

At running back, junior Jamar Smith has inserted himself into the discussion, according to Molnar.

"Jamar Smith has really come on in the last several days," Molnar said. "We didn’t say, here, we’regoing to put you in. He just proved that he deserves to have a shot at running out there for the first snapagainst UConn."

Molnar also mentioned that freshmen cornerbacks D'Metrius Williams and Trey Dudley-Giles wouldsee plenty of playing time.

"The difference between our third corner and our second corner is tiny," Molnar said. "I would see allfour guys playing in the game."

At linebacker, Molnar mentioned Tim Brandt, D.J. Adeoba, Jovan Santos-Knox, Rob O'Connor andLeo Krizanovic as guys that were "right in the mix" for playing time as well.
