HEAD acquires Zoggs
HEAD, a leading global Sporting Goods Group which owns the HEAD, PENNand MARES brands is pleased to announce the acquisition of Zoggs, theworld-class swim brand famous for its Goggles, Swimwear and Equipmentand holding leading market positions in the UK, Australia and variousdistributor markets.
HEAD with its leading market positions in Winter-Sports, Racquet-Sports andDiving over recent years has also become a leading performance swim brandin both the pool and open water segments, dominating the growing Swim runcategory.
HEAD swimming and Zoggs will be merged into a combined SwimmingBusiness Unit led by the current Zoggs CEO Mark Hammersley. The mediumterm view is to further strengthen the Zoggs brand via an extended productportfolio and expanding distribution globally by leveraging HEAD’sworldwide distribution network. This merger will allow Zoggs access towelded race suits, open water neoprene wet suits, liquid silicone goggleranges and a number of swim training accessories.
Swim Schools International, owned by MARES' sister company SSI with itsworld class swim training programs from babies to adults will becomeavailable for Zoggs Aquatic and Leisure centres worldwide.
