HDE owns and operates astate-of-the-art Leica P303D laser scanner and hasthe latest software toanalyse the “point clouds”it creates.

The Leica P30 uses line ofsight laser to digitallycapture the shape of anyphysical object at onemillion laser measurementpoints per second.

Leica P30 point clouds areunsurpassed for their detailand accuracy and can

create an exact 3Dcomputer model of any object.

3D scanning is especiallyuseful for measuring andinspecting contouredsurfaces and complexgeometries that areotherwise impractical tomeasure.

The Leica P30 has a 130-metre radius scanningrange that can beindefinitely expanded bycoupling scans together.

Scanning inside pits and sumps can be completed easily using the inverted tripod. The tripod allows you to lower the scanner up to 4m below base level.
