On one brisk October morning, Mrs.

Linden was going to do some

housekeeping but her window cleaner

was down in the basement. When Mrs.

Linden went down to get it she noticed a

peculiar little door! “My mind must be

playing tricks on me,” said Mrs. Linden.

She went back upstairs with her window

cleaner. “I’m home,” shouted Mr.

Linden. “Detective Murdoch solved

another one. Mr. Orr was killed by a

poison needle injected by Mr. Maier.

Surely enough he’ll go to prison,” added

Mr. Linden. “You have an extraordinary

police force,” exclaimed Mrs. Linden. “I

noticed the strangest little door in the

basement!” mentioned Mrs. Linden. “I’ll

go check it out,” shouted Mr. Linden.

Mr. Linden slowly walked down the

creaky basement stairs. It was so dusty,

you could barely see in front of you!

basement up with boxes, then went to

sit with Mrs. Linden. “What’s the matter

Snuggle Bunny?” asked Mrs. Linden. “I

could have sworn I saw a door in the

basement!” said Mr. Linden. “I saw a

door in the basement as well,” shouted

Mrs. Linden. The Lindens went down

stairs. “Huh ….. It`s open,” exclaimed

Mrs. Linden. “What do you think came

out of the door?” murmured Mr. Linden.

“Who know,” whispered Mrs. Linden.

pounded on Mrs. Roest’s wooden door.

“Mrs. Roest are you there?” Mr. Linden

wondered. Creaaaakkkk. Mr. Linden

opened the door to see Mrs. Roest lying

there dead with a star carved in her fore

head….

“Sure enough it was MURDER!” decided

Detective Murdoch. “This is unnatural,”

commented Mr. Murdoch. “It looks like

a laser beam.” “Who had access to her

house?” asked Detective Murdoch.

“Anyone at all? Let’s finish this case

tomorrow.”

“Rise and shine Honey…Huh…huh h-h-

he’s DEAD!” cried Mrs. Linden. The Star

thought Mrs. Linden She looked out the

door and saw an unhuman shadow

coming from the basement. She grabbed

an axe from Mr. Linden’s weapon closet

beside the bed. She grabbed her cell

phone of the night stand and hid in her

closet. Clunk………. Clunk “I think I’m

safe” whispered Mrs. Linden. Suddenly

the door opened.

“Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.” Screamed

Mrs. Linden. A Shadowy Figure was

standing in front of her with a laser

beam in its hand. Mrs. Linden swung the

axe at the figure but went right through

it. “A-a-a ghost,” stuttered Mrs. Linden.
