UIW is a complex organism
We have undergone many changes since 1985 …
• This fall, the number of first-time freshmen and transfer students will be greater than the entire number of full-time students 20 years ago
• Enrollment reflects the diversity of Bexar County
• The number of buildings has more than tripled
And many more changes since 1995 …
• More than twice as many students• A greater number of majors• A Ph.D. program• ADCaP and Virtual University• Sites in China and Mexico
Also since 1995 …
• Professional School of Pharmacy• Greater #s of faculty have terminal degrees• Have more than doubled the size of faculty• Purchased SACHS property• Wireless campus

- Last year we became the fifth largest private university in Texas; this year we could become the fourth largest

• SACS re-accreditation announcement in December
• Completion of Math, Science & Engineering Center
• Groundbreaking for the Feik School of Pharmacy in the spring

• Open new ADCaP site in the spring to replace the site at the Medical Center
• Continued development of the two high schools
• Resolve the athletic conference situation
