DirectPrint Makes Printing Easy. DirectPrint’s streamlined workflow allows the operator to either drag and drop print ready files on to preconfigured shortcuts or use the DirectPrint application to quickly configure the settings that will be used. Once configured, it is simply a matter of dragging and dropping the print ready PDF or PS file on to the DirectPrint application window or on to one of the preconfigured shortcuts.

Robust Harlequin RIP at the Core. DirectPrint includes a state of the art Harlequin RIP which means you will have no problem processing files quickly and efficiently. Not just another workflow, the Harlequin RIP is one of the fastest RIPs around utilizing the latest screening technology for accurate color matching. Whether you are using CMYK or CMYK plus a spot varnish or white ink, our software gives you consistent, reliable color every time.

Preconfigured Color Profiles. DirectPrint includes a wide variety of preconfigured paper profiles for excellent color capabilities right out of the box. Users also have the ability to build up to 5 custom paper profiles.

Exceptional Color. The built-in Harlequin ColorPro feature ensures consistent color matching between jobs, and gives users the ability to produce accurate, predictable output across multiple media formats.

Spot Color Editor with Spot Color Matching. The built-in Spot Color Editor with Spot Color Matching means your operator can match PANTONE and PANTONE Plus colors quickly and accurately.

Variable Data. Harlequin VariData greatly accelerates the printing of variable data jobs that were saved either as PDF/VT or as regular PDF. It is one of the unique features of the Harlequin print engine that gives it amazing power and productivity. VariData intelligently recognizes variable data and static backgrounds in personalized print, direct mail and promotional jobs enabling them to be greatly accelerated, even if the PDF file was not constructed very efficiently.

HDS FM/Stochastic and HXM Hybrid Screening. The Harlequin RIP’s high quality screening brings amazingly sharp images to life. Included with the DirectPrint software package is Harlequin’s HDS FM/Stochastic and HXM Hybrid screen sets. These screening technologies are capable of producing eye catching color transitions for print quality that is simply unmatched by other software applications.

Drive Up to 3 Devices. DirectPrint has the ability to drive up to 3 different OKI devices using just one RIP station.
