Principal’s Report WELCOME BACK

Welcome back everyone to the 2021 school year. A special welcome to our new families that are

commencing at HVPS for 2021.

Over the next two weeks you will receive a considerable quantity of correspondence. Please ensure you

read this literature carefully and complete and return the required forms. As our Water awareness

program commences next Wednesday at the Harcourt Pool, it is important that swimming permission

forms are returned by next Monday 1st February. A reminder to families that all students are required to

wear a rash vest or old shirt that covers their shoulders during swimming sessions. Students will travel to

the pool via bus and return to school at the completion of the swim sessions.

I would like to congratulate all of the students on commencing school on such a positive note and quickly

establishing a routine that is conducive to a strong learning environment. To prepare our students for the

academic year ahead, we have a two week Ready to Learn Program that has already commenced.

Information relating to our Ready To Learn program is attached to today’s newsletter.

booklet and other information.

Please return the following forms as soon as possible:

Students with Asthma

Students with Asthma need to supply a reliever inhaler and spacer to the school for the students’ personal

First Aid staff assist students with using their inhaler.

An Asthma plan is also a requirement and updated yearly by your G.P.

Inhalers and spacers are taken on excursions and camps.
