Happy New “booming market” Year

Happy New “booming market” Year As we enter another New Year, there is always a natural optimism that comes with the champagne (to go with new diet, new promises, new gym membership etc) The question we are all asking is - Could 2014 be the year that we finally return to a booming global economy bringing to the IT market another high that makes the recruitment place hyper active again..? Optimism indeed !! The reality is that after any depression or down turn all industries change in order to survive (some of them do not survive at all). In this perspective, the recruitment field has certainly been through a lot and a 180 degrees turn around over the last 5 years has happened. For many factors both - technological & financial - our industry has changed (for the better I may add) and the old school of recruitment has closed down. First - The Technology factor. The lightning speed of development in IT and Social media- namely Linked-in have ended all recruiters treasured “exclusive database” and leveled the playing fields allowing access to everyone (“the talent pool is open for all, please come in”) Second Financial factor. As money is getting tighter & tighter every penny counts (no more bank credit for anyone) All our clients now employ HR teams (many defectors from the “recruitment industry”) and more often than not they are good in what they do. Third - Expectations have risen to a new level by all employers. As we entered the new millennium all businesses realized that the success or failure of companies rely on good old fashioned commodity - PEOPLE. As we greet 2014 everyone in business is aware - finding Good People has never been Harder. In turn clients selection processes get longer, harder and more thorough (and rightly so) At Niche, we have been close witnesses to the events listed above and have planned our strategy for 2014 to match our clients plans. We do expect our positive upturn in The New Year, and we intend to continue working closely with our select Niche clients across our focused markets (MENA, APAC, LATAM, Russia & Turkey). In priority, working closely with our counterparts in HR departments, we will focus on helping them build their internal teams in a pro-active manner aiming to find the best talent out there. Secondly, we will work on supporting our customers fill potential punctual gaps and reinforce their team in a reactive manner by identifying quality ONLY freelancers for their key projects. Here is to a Happy New Booming Market Year !

Happy New “booming market” Year

As we enter another New Year, there is always a natural optimism that comes with the champagne (to go with new diet, new promises, new gym membership etc) The question we are all asking is - Could 2014 be the year that we finally return to a booming global economy bringing to the IT market another high that makes the recruitment place hyper active again..? Optimism indeed !! The reality is that after any depression or down turn all industries change in order to survive (some of them do not survive at all). In this perspective, the recruitment field has certainly been through a lot and a 180 degrees turn around over the last 5 years has happened. For many factors both - technological & financial - our industry has changed (for the better I may add) and the old school of recruitment has closed down. First - The Technology factor. The lightning speed of development in IT and Social media- namely Linked-in have ended all recruiters treasured “exclusive database” and leveled the playing fields allowing access to everyone (“the talent pool is open for all, please come in”)

Second – Financial factor.

In turn clients selection processes get longer, harder and more thorough (and rightly so)

At Niche, we have been close witnesses to the events listed above and have planned our strategy for 2014 to match our clients plans.

We do expect our positive upturn in The New Year, and we intend to continue working closely with our select Niche clients across our focused markets (MENA, APAC, LATAM, Russia & Turkey). In priority, working closely with our counterparts in HR departments, we will focus on helping them build their internal teams in a pro-active manner – aiming to find the best talent out there.
