1. Cut a C square twice on the diagonal.

2. Sew an E triangle to a Ctriangle as shown. Press toward the E triangle.

3. Sew an E triangle to the Step 2 unit as shown. Press toward the E triangle.Repeat for all the C triangles.You will have 4 units.

4. Sew two I squares to the sides of a vertical stripe Step 3 unit as shown. Press toward the I squares. Repeat for the second vertical stripe Step 3 unit.

5. Sew the remaining two Step 3 units to the sides of a B square as shown. Press towards the B square.

InstructionsRead all instructions before you begin. All seam allowance is 1/4" unless otherwise stated. Use a light sizing/starch on the squares before cutting triangles to help congrol stretching along bias edges.

8. Cut a D square twice on the diagonal.

9. Sew an F triangle to a D triangle as shown. Press toward the D triangle.

10. Sew an F triangle to the Step 9 unit as shown. Press toward the D triangle.Repeat for all the D triangles.You will have 4 units.

11. Sew a G triangle to an H triangle. Press open.

12. Sew two Step 11 units to the sides of a vertical stripe Step 10 unit as shown. Press toward the Step 11 units. Repeat for the second verticle stripe Step 10 unit.

13. Sew the remaining two Step 10 units to the sides of an A square as shown. Press towards the A square.

6. Sew the Step 4 units to the top and bottom of the Step 5 unit as shown. Press toward the Step 5 unit.

7. Repeat Steps 1-6 to make 15 total blocks.

14. Sew the Step 12 units to the top and bottom of the Step 13 unit as shown. Press toward the Step 12 units.

15. Repeat Steps 8-14 to make 15 total blocks.

16. Assemble Row 1 using three Step 14 blocks and two Step 6 blocks. Sew the blocks together and press toward the Step 14 blocks. Repeat to make 3 total rows.

17. Assemble Row 2 using three Step 6 blocks and two Step 14 blocks. Sew the blocks together and press toward the Step 14 blocks. Repeat to make 3 total rows.

18. Starting with Row 1, alternate the rows, pinning and sewing them together. Press seams open.

19. Layer the backing (wrong side up), batting, and quilt top (right side up). Baste layers to secure.

20. Quilt as desired.

21. Trim the backing and batting flush with the quilt top. Bind the edges using a 1/4” wide seam allowance.
