Speaks SPECIAL HOLIDAYEDITION
From The Historic Town of Eatonville
However, the Council is urging all citizens to think about the deeper meaning of this season. Christ came with a mission and a sense of purpose with full knowledge of His role and ultimate destiny.
We also have a mission to protect and care for our natural, economic, social, cultural and spiritual environment in addition to spreading love, goodwill and peace to all mankind throughout our community.
One way by which we can help promote this mission, is to instill a more neighborly atti-tude towards those around us; to be more tol-erant to the beliefs of others; and respect the law which provides for the right of every citi-zen, while sharing a common bond of 1887.

Christmas On The Boulevard
Within this Newsletter you will find a number of accomplishments the Town Council and staff have made as well as
future endeavors. I can truly say, “I am honored to serve with every Council person that sits on the board.”
Lastly, if you can join me and Town Council for our Annual Christmas on the Blvd. The Historic Town of Eatonville will partner with the Elfrid Payton Foundation to create a magical experi-ence for Eatonville youth and families in cele-bration of its 130th Town Anniversary.
The event will feature music, food, toy givea-ways, opportunities to meet athletes, and lots of fun youth activities.
During this season, I would also like to high-light the Hungerford Elementary School Princi-pal and staff for a wonderful rewarding year they have planned for our children. They all play an intricate role in the lives of the students at Hungerford Elementary and oftentimes enough is not said about your enormous gene-
rosity, commitment, and sacrifice to them our families.
With this said, on the same day as Christmas on the Blvd., Hungerford Elementary will be having their Christmas Program. For every child who attends the Hungerford Elementary Christmas Program, they will receive a entrance ticket to the Christmas on the Blvd.
Let’s keep this positive change going as we continue to celebrate together 130 years. May God continue to bless you and your family during this holiday season.
Merry Christmas and have Happy New Year!

Theodore “Trypp” Washington Mr. Rod Bargaineer, Recreation Director of Community & Youth, Town of Eatonville
states, “It has been an absolute pleasure watching Theodore “Trypp” Washington Jr.
flourish into the admirable young man that he is today. Over the years, I have coached,
mentored, and employed Trypp.
While on the football field, he was always a standout leader, during mentoring he was
always willing to take any advice given and put it into action, and as an employee I
could always rely upon him to be dedicated, always eager and ready to work. I am ex-
tremely proud of Trypp’s growth and accomplishments, and I wish him well on all of
his future endeavors.
