The Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Committee welcomes you to the 40 th Annual Victorian Christmas celebration. This holiday event has been one of our community’s most cherished Christmas traditions. Generations of local adults and children have grown up participating in concerts, dressing in Victorian period dress, and creating lasting memories by taking part in this annual event year after year. It’s these lasting memories that have kept this annual event alive for 38 years. As we assumed this responsibility we wanted each visitor to enjoy the festivities in the downtown proper as much as possible, easily walk or ride by taking the Free Shuttle to every venue and not worry about where to park or if they would have enough time to enjoy all that is offered. Back again by Popular Demand for this year’s annual event is the Brian Belge Productions, Dickens and Company. Enjoy the merriment, music, laughter, and pure fun with the strolling characters while they entertain you at the different venues throughout the event weekend and at the Fezziwig’s Holiday Party at the Match Factory Saturday evening. We want all who visit to spend time in our lovely shops, partake of our fine restaurants, stay in our beautiful B&B’s, visit the Bellefonte Art Museum, the Centre County Library & Historical Museum and soak up the history and architecture while enjoying the event. We hope that this Special Guide will help you take advantage of all the venues and activities throughout the event weekend. Our greatest joy throughout our experience for this year has been working with the best group of individuals who have worked very hard to bring you the best venues. The members of the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Committee are hardworking, tireless, and selfless individuals who care about the community and your enjoyment! We all have found great joy as we have worked and felt the support from businesses, professionals, individuals, shop keepers, restaurateurs, and community organizations who have not only worked in a cooperative effort but have aided the event financially. This community has helped to make this event what it has become year after year. We would like to thank our umbrella organization, Historic Bellefonte, Inc., the Bellefonte Borough, Centre County Government, and the Bellefonte School District for their support before, during, and after the event. What a joy it is to live in such a diverse community where we can all work together for the common good. And last but not least, we could not have done any of this without the support of our spouses and families and all those who visit “Victorian Bellefonte” at the holiday season. It is our hope, whether a local resident oran out of town visitor, that you will feel welcomed, enjoy the event, have a grand time, and a wonderful holiday season. Thank you for coming and please come back year after year to enjoy the Victorian Christmas Celebration. Or just come to visit our beautiful town no matter the season to build your own lasting “Memories That Are Made in Bellefonte!” Happy Christmas and God Bless Everyone! The Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Committee welcomes you to the 40th Annual Victorian Christmas celebration.

This holiday event has been one of our community’s most cherished Christmas traditions. Generations of local adults and children have grown up participating in concerts, dressing in Victorian period dress, and creating lasting memories by taking part in this annual event year after year.
