201516 District Climate Survey Results  The Andover Climate Survey is given yearly to all employees, parents, elementary, middle and high school students. In line with our District Goal of Culture & Climate, which is to provide a positive and safe environment to optimize student and staff success, each year’s survey’s purpose is to measure the overall environment of Andover Public Schools by its employees and patrons. The information gained from the survey is used to guide the district in our continuous improvement efforts.

With over 4,200 responses, we are very pleased with the participation from our staff, parents and students. As various groups have viewed the results, three areas on the survey have been identified as the top priorities to our stakeholders.Also being tracked on the Andover Data Dashboard, the areas tracked include Quality Instruction, Safety and Feeling Valued which were determined based on feedback from Super SAT, District Leadership Teams and Administrators

The survey shows that 88% of parents and students are “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” that students are receiving quality instruction and are making adequate progress.  92% of parents, students and staff feel “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” with the safety at school and schoolrelated events.  Overall, 79% of parents, secondary students and staff feel valued and connected to their school.   These results were shared with the Board of Education on Feb. 8 and are posted on the district website under District Info. Each school’s individual data is posted on their website under Resources.
