Ragini Khanna is the daughter of Praveen and Kaamini Khanna and Actor Govinda is her maternal uncle.

She completed her studies at R.N. SHAH high School and obtained a MCom from University of Mumbai.

She is an Indian Television Actress who has appeared in 3 Hindi serials and 1 Bollywood movie since her acting career commenced.

She dived in the world of television industry at the tender age of 20

with Radha Ki Betiyan Kuck Kar Dikhayegi. She played the role of Gini, a bubbly and jovial character who aspired to become a model. She brought a freshness and a relatable quality to her character

through her innocent and playful portrayal. She also showed some sparks of "comedy" in many parts of the show.

For a beginner her acting was well appreciated!

Then she was given the opportunity to play Bharti in the show Bhaskar Bharti in 2009. Her role was that of a man becoming a woman due to a curse!

It was a challenging role as it required her to behave like a man and woman with equal ease! Her performance displayed an array of many faculties

which gave her much needed acclaim to attain a main lead role in prime time television in 2010.

Ravi Ojha (producer&director) gave her the platform to essay the role of Suhana

in his show titled Sasural Genda Phool. She plays the daughter of a widowed father who sought to have

her married to a loving and caring family. Again this role provided her the chance to prove herself as a talented actress

who is able to exhibit layers of emotions and different shades of mood with great elan and competency. Her comic timings

have been applauded as well as her sensitive depiction of melancholic and tragic circumstances. With the performance of Suhana, Ragini Khanna has become one of the leading actresses of Indian Televsion.

Besides acting Ragini loves to sing and dance. She took part in a dancing competition,

Jhalak Dikhla Jah in early 2011. She said she learnt a lot about dancing during her involvement of the show.

She has also trained in classical singing since childhood and her ambition is to become a professional singer.

She unsuccessfully participated in a singing competition, Star Ya Rockstar in the latter part of 2011.

Her 1st movie Teen Thay Bhai was below average but her performance in the small role

was well acknowledged and appreciated. She signed a movie names Zindagi Live in 2011, however the project was shelved due to unknown reasons.

She continues to search for good scripts for her next venture. We wish her all the best!6
