Invest in the PTSCC Mission with a Charitable Gift
Providing programs and services to support the independence and well-being of older adults is both a challenge and a privilege. PTSCC’s staff and volunteers work hard every day to help enhance our participant’s spirit, body and mind while encouraging a strong connection to community. Operating a successful nonprofit organization serving over 3,000 people is a significant task, but you can help. Your charitable financial contribution will make a world of difference in the lives of those we serve. Your support helps guarantee the health, independence and social engagement of older adults in our community. For questions on how to financially contribute to the advancement of the PTSCC mission, please contact Greg Weider at 847.991.1112 x235. Thank you in advance for your consideration of support.

Girls Night out
Sponsors
Girls’ Night Out was the most successful yet!
Ladies arrived at Durty Nellie’s ready for an exciting evening at the 14th Annual Girls’ Night Out fundraising event benefitting the Palatine Township Senior Center. Girlfriends, colleagues, mothers, and daughters enjoyed pampering stations, food & drinks, raffles, music, and fun! The Signature Drink of the evening, a Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini, sponsored by Brandt Financial Concepts Inc., was enjoyed by all. Much fun was had at the Selfie Station provided by Andigo Credit Union. Great music was played by Loren Freeman with Event Mobile Sound, sponsored by Marla & Bill Gillen, and the gals enjoyed delicious appetizers provided by Durty Nellie’s.
Nail strips were demonstrated by Stacy Margolis, an independent consultant of Color Street Nails. Many ladies were relaxed with a chair massage by J2Massage, and braids, curls and hair styling was done by Arete Salon & Spa. Twenty seven women were thrilled to win one of the fabulous raffle baskets, varying from salon services, to theater tickets, purses, restaurants, specialty items, pampering items, and much more. The Cork Pull was once again very popular, and the Chocolate Bar, beautifully displayed in glassware and sponsored by Long Grove Confectionary, was just what the ladies wanted. Guests received wonderful little gifts at the Party Favor Bar, provided by our generous Platinum Sponsors, upon departure.

NEW PROGRAM - MEMORY CAFÉ Third Wednesday of Each Month
Dec. 18, 2019 And Jan. 15, Feb. 19, Mar. 18, 2020
Join us for our new Memory Cafe Program. The Memory Café is a FREE monthly social gathering designed for people living with dementia, or another form of cognitive impairment, and their care partners to feel welcomed and engaged in their own community. Memory Café is not respite care or a place to “drop off” your loved one. It is an opportunity for the person living with dementia and their caregiver to enjoy activities together and to enhance their normal routine without the burden of disability or disease.
This is an opportunity to meet others, socialize, and learn from each other. We will offer fun activities, educational presentations, and time to just connect with others! We will also provide a FREE lunch after the program!
If you would like to be contacted about this program, please call the Main Office at 847.991.1112.
