Turning it up on Tuesdays… SWING out of the summer heat...TANGO with the turning trees...WALTZ winter
worries away...or just RUMBA until the cows come home...
Beginning Tuesday, September 14, Hannibal Country Club
is excited to offer a series of six dance lessons. Instructors
Vern Massey and Patty Quattrocchi will offer the series for
$60 per person.
Lessons will be held in the Great Room from 6-8 pm.
We will take “beverage breaks” and our BBQ Tuesday
Night specials will be offered all evening.
Full payment to Mr. Massey is due at the first lesson.
Please call the club, in advance, to reserve your spot on
the floor.
Let’s make September 14, 21, 28 and October
5, 12, 19 our own “Dancing with the Stars!”
Hannibal Nutrition Center Golf Outing
Monday, September 13
The Hannibal Country Club is pleased to host a golf outing to benefit the Han-nibal Nutrition Center’s Meals on Wheels program. Cost is $100 per person or
$350 per team, which includes golf, cart, dinner & beverages. The fees are 100% tax deductible.
There are mulligans, raffles, 50/50 drawing & more. Hole sponsorships are available for $100
with the company’s name displayed.
Format is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Rain date is September 20.
Sign up in the Pro Shop. Deadline is September 10.

FROM THE BOARD:
Membership stands at 180.
The Board approved membership applications for
Darlene Oliva and Joe Thomas.
Membership committee will be contacting past mem-
bers identifying our new membership structure.
Membership committee is planning a promotional
event for potential junior members. Members will be
the hosts with no cost to the club.
Clubhouse Manager report identified reasons for a
slow July resulting in decrease in restaurant opera-
tions. A POS system will be repositioned to the front
of the house for improved process. Several special
events have been booked for the fall months.
Dance lessons will be offered in September & Octo-
ber.
Pool report was presented by Corliss Morthland. Pool
hours have been shortened. Pool expenses are cur-
rently under budget. Insurance policy regarding pool
will be reviewed upon renewal.
Entertainment committee report was presented by
Warren Barrett. Band for the invitational golf tourna-
ment has been cancelled.
Dean Doyle reported on Greens & Grounds. Course
fungus will be addressed in the fall with replanting,
over-seed and aerating.
Finance committee met August 11. The Board re-
viewed the projections and committee recommenda-
tions regarding year-end projections.
Board moved to closed session.
Bombay Weekend Party! Friday, September 3 Dinner Buffet—6 p.m. Men’s Calcutta Auction—7 p.m. Band will play following the Auction
All club members are invited to this festive kickoff to our Bombay Weekend. This will be a great
party and who knows, you may be the owner of one of the teams! Price for dinner is $14.95. You do not have to have dinner to enjoy the activities.
LADIES’ BOMBAY—9 a.m. Saturday, September 4
The ladies of HCC start Day 2 of Bombay
Weekend with a two-lady team, one best-ball championship.
All handicap teams will be great, so pick your favorite partner and tee it up!
MEN’S BOMBAY—10 a.m. Sunday & Monday, September 5 & 6
Any two-man team will have a great opportu-
nity against the field in this classic HCC event. We start at 10 a.m. both days.
The format is one best-ball between the two-man teams. We hope all our male golfers will pick their favorite partner for this great event!

6 p.m. on Fridays, with regular
hours on Saturday & Sunday (open
at 10 a.m.).
