Job Description for Handset Repair Technician/Inventory Control Department - Accounting Reports to-Inventory Control Manager Minimum Education Requirement – High School Diploma Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required Date Prepared – February 14, 2014 Position Summary o Assist other Repair Phone Technicians with repair phones and store loaner inventory. o Receive shipments from vendors and shipping product to retail locations. o Maintain inventory levels in the warehouse, including end-of-the-month counting and reports. Principal Duties and Responsibilities o Ship Repair Phones to the Manufacturers o Check and Test Phones when they return from repair o Add and Delete Loaner Phones in Inventory for All Stores o Receive inventory transfers and shipments o Cycle counts and proof receiving o Enter warehouse transfers into system and ship to retail locations o Record all transfers, counts and adjustments; file and retain as necessary o Perform monthly inventory counts and make system adjustments after completing all necessary recounts and system searches o Replenish products and track inventory usage via computer o Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures o Reconcile inventories and make adjustments when necessary o Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product counts and records; take steps to correct and prevent future discrepancies o Review requisitions and set up new inventory items o Print barcode stickers for all SKU’s o Reduce and eliminate freight expedites when possible o Coordinate the statistical inventory activities o Assist with the implementation and administration of a loss-prevention program o Provide recommendations to resolve inventory issues o Deliver Inventory when Necessary o Conduct stock searches to locate products within the system o Implement appropriate actions to accommodate customer demands Other Duties and Responsibilities o Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requiredo Knowledge
1. Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent2. Two years experience in shipping and receiving3. Prior knowledge of UPS online shipping system
o Skills1. Ability to create, manipulate and utilize spreadsheets2. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees via phone and in person3. Ability to organize and maintain order of large quantities of inventory
o Abilities1. Must be able to move 50 pounds2. Must be secure in doing work while standing on a ladder
