Scope of Training
-Hands-on workshops aim exclusively to take students from theoretical way of
learning through books and references to implementation in real life working
situations in which every patient needs an accurate assessment based individualized
pharmaceutical care plan
Why it is crucial to implement Clinical pharmacy (Hands-on training program) The following education Plan serves as the foundation of the commitment of the Pharmacy and Biotechnology Faculties and training programs to continuously improve the quality of education and training services they provide.
Hands-on workshops
Clinical pharmacy I have a complete vision that will ensure:
1. Vanishing the gap between solid study materials and real needs of workplaces that implement clinical pharmacy professionally
2. Putting the student on the road of clinical pharmacy implementation and visualizing their career nature
3. Technology based training that drive clinical pharmacy student from shallow knowledge to professionalism

Project Principles. A systematic approach to train students will be followed on a priority basis.
Workshops are based on the following principles: Patients’ case files Focus. High quality hospitals focus on their patients’ needs and
expectations, students should know how to assess case files
Recovery-oriented Students are to be trained to set treatment goals individually according to each patient case This approach teaches to gain maximum flexibility and choice to meet individually defined goals and to permit patient-centered services.
Healthcare team Empowerment. Effective programs involve health care team as a whole at all levels of the organization in improving quality.
This approach teaches to gain communication skills needed by a clinical pharmacist
Data Informed Practice. Successful clinical pharmacy services need feedback
loops, using data to inform practice and measure results. Fact-based decisions are likely to be correct decisions.
This approach teaches students how to use technology and health informatics in the whole patient care proceeding from admission to discharge
Electronic health record (EHR), or electronic medical record (EMR)
Based on fact of EHRs improve the quality of care, Teaching students to improve EHR usability should be placed in the context of physician-patient-Pharmacist communication plus data max benefit usability
Statistical Tools. For continuous improvement of care, tools and methods are needed that foster knowledge and understanding. Using a defined set of analytic tools such as run charts, cause and effect diagrams, flowcharts, Pareto charts, histograms, and control charts to turn data into information.
Prevention over Correction. A successful clinical pharmacist seeks to design clinical surveillance processes to achieve excellent prevention of medical errors and diseases outcomes rather than fix processes after the fact.

To implement quantitative measurement to assess training processes or outcomes;
(Assessment of patient case file in a time plan) involving quantitative measurement: The average number of “students” who will be able to accurately and rapidly assess a no of patient case files Ability of students to review quantitative data and major clinical adverse occurrences to
identify problems;
To carefully prioritize identified problems and set treatment and pharmaceutical goals for resolution;
To achieve measurable improvement in the highest priority areas;
Ability of reporting and documentation correctly
To develop or adopt necessary tools, such as practice guidelines and quality indicators.
