The Virginia Aquarium demonstratesthe scientific method with "SnailScience." Take measurements, set upexperiments, and make predictions ina hands-on, live animal programfeaturing mud snails and whelks.

Kids become wrapped up in the worldof robotics! Volunteers act out theroles of a robot, a remote controldevice, and an automaton. A reading-and-writing robot draw shapes,detects objects, and tracks lines. Kidswill circulate learning centers tocontrol an automaton through sound,move a robot through a maze, andmake a soccer robot score a goal!Finally, a soft and snuggly robotic sealpup is passed around for all to pet.
