USING THE POLL TOOL Open a WebEx session to create polls. By default, the polls panel is hidden. To show,
Open the manage panels function by clicking the small, downward facing arrow
on the right hand side of the page to open the dropdown menu (shown above). Select “Manage Panels…” and you will see the following pop up screen.

From here, you will see “Available panels” on the left side, and “Current panels” on the right. Use the Add and Remove buttons to organize panels to your preference. To use Polls, select Polling and click Add. When it is in the “Current panels” column, you are ready to use polls. Click ok to save these preferences for this session. Once you have added the polls panel, there are several functions illustrated on the diagram below.

1. Add Question – you may make multiple questions in your poll. To add a new
question, choose this button.
2. Add Answer– add multiple-choice answers to your question.
3. Edit – edit your questions or answers by clicking on the text field you would
like to edit and then click this button. Now you may edit any field.
4. Open saved poll question(s) – use a poll question you have created previously
and saved as a .atp file.
5. Save poll question(s) - make poll questions ahead of time and save them
using this function. This saves time in the session.
6. Open Poll - when you are ready for participants to see the poll, click open
poll. This will make the poll visible to participants.
