    Manual Tongs

Manual Tongs are used to make or break drill pipe and casing joints. The

handling size of the tong can be adjusted by changing latch lug jaws. ManualTongs are constructed from the finest alloy steels, and machined to closetolerances. All parts are heat treated for maximum strength. Before deliverya magnetic particle inspection is performed to detect cracks in the metal. Alltongs are tested for performance before shipping. Tong sizes are availableto cover drill pipe and casing sizes from 2-3/8" OD through 30" OD. Torqueratings will vary with the size of lug jaw used.
