  • H. Andersen A/SCompany profile

    2

    H. Andersen A/S is founded in 1984 with the purpose to sell good, cheap unoriginal parts for potatoharvesters. Today we sell 60% to eksport.

Since the start we have expanded our line of products to cover spareparts/wearparts for stonecollectors, beetharvesters and various specialmaschines.

    H. Andersen A/S offer an almost complete line of webs, drive wheels and support rollers of rubber or iron.

This catalogue contains a list of our products. Many products are constructed especially for one maschine, and it is therefore possible that the sparepart, you need does not appear in the catalouge, but still can be delivered from our stock.

  • Traction belts

    3

The traction belts of our sift belts are always of EP1000/3 quality. This means that they are made of three ply, ployester fibres in the warp and ployamid fribres in the weft. The tensile strenght is 1000 kg per cm. of belt width.

The rubber sheets from which the belts are cut have been specially developed and produced for our sieve webs in collaboration with ROULUNDS in Odense, Denmark. The rubber of these belts is of a wear-resistant and weatherproof quality, making them ideal for use ifl harvesters and washing systems for vegetables and fruit. The hardness of the rubber is 65 +/- shore A

Because the belts are profiled and cut later, we are in a position to offer considerable flexibility in terms of standard pitches and belt widths.

  • Bars

    5

    Bars

All standard bars are made of class C spring steel (DIN 17223). Bars with square pitches are made of hardened Borium SB27M12CB Steel. All Bars come either cranked or non-cranked.The cranking can be done to varrious heights. The bars are fastened to the belt with two rivets per belt. The diameter of the rivets is 5 or 6 mm.

  • Sieve webs

    6

    Standard sieve webs

Sieve webs are made of two or more traction belts. The bars can be fastened to the central belt in one of two ways:

    a) by means of a centre clip (MB) for bar diametres of 9, 10, 11 and 12 mm.

    b) by means of a central flattened rod for bar diametres of 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 mm.

    Standard

  • Sieve belts

    7

    Special sieve belts

For the processing of small products such as flower bulbs and French carrots, we produce sieve webs fitted with double bars. Combined with the special coverings we can archieve sifting of 2 mm.

For oblong products as carrots, chicory and salsify much use is made of belts with square pitches. These can be made in several sizes, taking intro account the standart pitches. Rod diameter 10, 11 or 12 mm.

    Hedgehog webs

    8

To separate haulm from the products, hedgehog webs are used. These are avaiable i 3 models:

    a) Standard model b) V-profile (not avaiable in every width) c) Cocksomb profile

  • Joiningmethods

    9

    1. Chain Lock

Type S: This connection is the fastest and easiest to mount. However, a chain lock is not very strong. the standard joint is made of 3 mm. plate steel.

There are 3 heavier types avaliable.

Type ZL: Welded model with tube of 20 x 10,5, available for all pitches.

Type ZG: Cast steel model (for 60 mm. wide belts and the pitches 36, 40, 42, 45, and 50).

Type ZS: Made of 3 mm. thick hardened steel. The use of hardened steel considerably increases the durability of this joint. The ZS joint consists of 2 equal parts, which has the advantage that the stocks can be reduced.

    2. Overlap joint

The advantage of the overlap joint is that the belt can be fitted on the machine quickly and easily. Once in place it offers the advantages of an endless, vulcanised belt.

    3. Endless vulcanised belt

An endless vulcanised belt always runs best on the machine. Fitting and endless belt is time-consuming, however, since it is a single unit. The machine must therefore be partially dismantled to fit the belt.

  • Bar Covering

    11

To reduce siftings and to protect the product, various types of covering are available.

    1. Hard Split PylyethyleneThis covering can be fitted to the bars relatively easy. This covering is hard and hence not suitable as protection from damage. Avaliable in the following sizes:

    2. Soft Star PVC This covering must be fitted to the bars before they are riveted to the belts. Avaliable in the following sizes:

    3. Air Cushion Tube = ACTAvaliable in the following sizes:

    6 x 9 11 x 168 x 12 12 x 169 x 12 16 x 20

    10 x 14 20 x 2410 x 16

  • Protection from damage

    12

To protect the products we have available, in addition to the star PVC and the air cushion tube, various soft profile materials and accessories.

    1. Square With air chamber, for 8 mm. squaren steel.

    2. Soft vulcanised profileThe hardenss of this profile is 30-35o shore A.

    3. Rivet protection This is a type of rubber profile which is slid over the ends of the bars.

    Drive wheels

  • Friction drive

    15

It is also possible to drive a sieve web with a low profile traction belt with cage wheels or rubber rollers.

This application requires the tightening of the belt round the drive wheel by means of an extra roller at the drive wheel. -Some are cleaveable

  • Rollers

    16

Thanks to an excellent arrangement with our suppliers, we have available a wide range of cast iron and rubber rollers.

These rollers are highly suitable for the support and return roller units of our sieve webs.

Under certain circum-stances some of these rollers can also be used as drive rollers.

All rollers can be supplied with an open axle for an M16-bolt or with a shaft. The shafts are made to order, with or without thread.

  • Shakers

    17

The use of shakers fitted under the sieve web increases sifting capacity. These shakers come in the following three models:

Triangular Available in the pitch concerned: 36 42

Rubber This comes in two versions and is suitable for all pitches.

  • Rubber flights

    18

We have a variety of flights available. Our rubber flights are made of top-grade materials with a high wear resistance. They come in the following models:

In principle, these flights are available for all pitches. They are fitted on two bars. To make driving by a sprockets possible a clamp is mounted on the centre of the flight to prevent lateral motion.

  • Steel flights
