1 PreambleThis handbook is intended for shop owners who want to create an eCommerce shop by usingthe Magento shopsystem with a pre-integrated checkout and payment system This handbookexplains in detail the installation of the Magento Image offered by MobiLab Solutions throughthe Azure Marketplace

This handbook lives from the feedback we receive from users and it is highly appreciated ifyou let us know of mistakes us and give your feedback to improve this document If you findany improvements write us at magentomobilabsolutionscom

2 EssentialsMagento is an open-source e-Commerce platform used by many eCom shop owners Theeasyness of Magento has made it one of the most popular eCom platforms However shopowners deciding to launch an eCom shop are mostly confronted with two main questions a)where to host the eCom shop and b) how to provide different payment solutions

The Magento - Wirecard checkout plugin is an Image which has been specifically built forthe Azure Marketplace Shop owners deciding to launch an eCom shop can easily subscribe forAzure and use their own subscription ID to create a virtual machine which runs the Magentoshopsystem with the Wirecard seamless checkout plugin

3 Magento InstallationIn order to get started go to the Azure Marketplace (httpsazuremicrosoftcomen-usmarketplace) and type in the searchbox lsquoMobiLabrsquo or lsquoMagentorsquo You will immediately seethe Magento - Wirecard Image created by MobiLab

Tap on the MobiLab logo and you will be navigated to the detail and description page ofthe Image



If you already have an Azure subscription you can now tap on lsquoCreate Virtual Machinersquoand you will be navigated to your Azure subscription portal which shows you all relevantinformation of the Magento Image

From now on all nextforthcoming steps are quite self explanatory Tap on lsquoCreatersquo andyou will see 5 different steps for creating the virtual machine to be run on Azure

In the first step you need to provide the Name of the virtual machine a user name andpassword You will also need to choose a location for the hosting of the virtual machine Azureoffers various locations in which you can host your virtual machine

In the second step you have to choose the size of the virtual machine You can start bychoosing first the smallest size to experiment first with the solution Once your customer basehas grown you can easily enlarge the size of the virtual machine


In the third step you have to define the settings of the virtual machine Azure will load foryou a default setting and it is recommend that you take them if you are not very familiar inhow to change the settings



In the fourth step you will see a summary of all provided information and whether thevalidation of the virtual machine has been processed successfully If the validation has beensuccessful you can proceed to buy your virtual machine instance and you are ready to startrun your eCommerce shop It will roughly take about 10 minutes till the virtual machine iscreated

4 Starting MagentoOnce the virtual machine has been created you will see within your Azure subscription portalthe Magento virtual machine

Tapping the virtual machine will navigate you to the detail page of the virtual machineYou need to tap on start button to start the virtual machine and an IP address for the virtual


machine will be generated By tapping on the IP you will see a window called essentials Youcan now copy the IP address and paste it into you browser and you will reach your createdMagento Store

The Magento admin page is located at httpltip-addressgtindexphpadmin Theadmin default credentials are

bull Username admin

bull Password Wirecard123

Please change the password immediately refer to the magento documentation for instruc-tions on how to change the password

Once you have accessed the admin panel of your Magento shop tap on lsquoSystemrsquo and thentap on lsquoConfigurationrsquo to access the Wirecard Seamles Checkout Plugin

On the Wirecard Seamless Checkout screen you will see some pre-filled data which needs tobe replaced by the real data you will get from Wirecard In order to get your credentials fromWirecard you need to register yourself as a merchant through the following link httpswwwcheckoutportalcomde_DEtransaction-fee-calculatorreseller_id=AHJ726nBylo1

bull Insert the country your company is registered in

bull The industry you are in (eg fashion)

bull Chosse the average ticket size

bull Enter the estimated annual turnover

Once you have registered yourself you will receive from Wirecard your customer ID shopID and the secret If this is set up you are ready to offer your products on your Magento shop
