Read for pleasure. Winter Break is a perfect time to gather books and just read for fun. Ask family members to give books as gifts. Gather your family around and read stories together. Cook up an easy lesson. Allow your child to help you prepare a spe- cial dish. This is a great way to help your child practice his math, read- ing and social skills. Write Thank-You Notes. Writing thanking you notes together will not only teach your child gratitude, but will also help him enhance his reading and writing skills. Maintain Reasonable Bedtimes. A few days before school starts, help you child get back into his regular bedtime routine. Ground Pork Sausage 1 tsp. Mustard Powder 1/2 tsp. Salt 4 Eggs (beaten) 2 cups Milk 6 slices of white bread (toasted & cut into cubes) 8 oz. Mild Cheddar Cheese (shredded) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Crumble sausage into a medium skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown; drain. In a medium bowl, mix together mustard powder, salt, eggs and milk. Add the sausage, bread cubes, and cheese, and stir to coat evenly. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight. Cover, and bake 45 to 60 minutes. Uncover, and reduce temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until set. 6 rebanadas de pan blanco (tostado y cortado en cubos)

8 onzas Suave Queso (rallado)

Precalentar el horno a 350 grados. Desmenuce la salchicha en una sartén mediana. Cocine a fuego medio hasta que se dore uniformemente; desagüe. En un tazón mediano, mezcle la mostaza en polvo, la sal, los huevos y la leche. Agregue la salchicha, los cubos de pan y el queso, y revuelva para cubrir uniformemente. Vierta en un molde para hornear engrasado de 9x13 pulgadas. Cubra y enfríe en el refrigerador por 8 horas o durante la noche. Cubra y hornee de 45 a 60 minutos.
