CandyApples• To make our candy apples we need:

-  red apples(fuji apples) -  600 g of sugar -  200 g of butter -  1 tablespoon of red food coloring -  1 lemon

Page 9: Halloween

Steps • First we wash the apples and we put a stick at the middle of

them.• Next we add, in a casserole, four tablespoons of water,

lemon juice and the sugar, and we let them melt to low flame. After that, we add the butter and we mix all the ingredients with a wood spoon. When the mix is melted, we switch off the hob and we add the red food coloring.

• Then, in a separate bowl, we put the mix and, holding the apples with the sticks, we spin them on the mix to cover them with candy, if you want, you can add toppings like chocolate pieces.

• Finally, wen they’re dry, they’re ready to eat.
