Focus Area Progress in September Additional Remarks
1. Agriculture Department
•Farmer Suicides study. •Agriculture Department, • Attended workshop at ICRISAT - CDAC on Phablet Model •Principal Secretary Agriculture •A meeting is planned with all Stake Holders on 9th October 2015 at Agriculture University. •Farm Mechanization service is being made online.
PHABLET Model needs to be Farmer Centric and it should be based on Bottom Up Model. Focus should be more on Using ICT for Market Linkage and Insurance based Agriculture than Extension Servcies.
2. Industries Dept. TSIIC
•We have met the IT Head Mr.Nanda Kishore and had preliminary discussion on the proposed model for the TSIIC post Bifurcation. We will support from Department side for proposed study by NISG on comprehensive architecture model integrating ERP & IALA’s.
They will involve us in the study they are planning to undertake with NISG.
3. Tourism Department
We have updated the details to Commissioner ESD sir and he said he will meet MD Telangana Tourism
They have Budget and ready to spend needs quick solution.

4. Labour Department Out of 7 activities identified in the Labour department, Digitization
of the records and meeseva services are being considered and the
same is being pursued with the department.

• Vikaspedia is a knowledge portal targeting specific country needs in the domain of social development.
• At present, 6 domains (Agriculture, Health, Education, Energy, Social Welfare and e-Governance).
• This multilingual portal is developed as a single-window access to information, products and services, with specific objective of reaching the ‘un-reached’ communities of India, especially poor.
• This portal is to be made to be in all Indian official languages
• A crowd-sourcing platform which allows registered and authenticated users to contribute content in regional languages for the benefit of a wider audience

Vikaspedia portal follows a ‘Collaborative Content Creation
Model’,
•It facilitates communities to actively contribute content in their
own languages, specific to their region use
•Any individual/volunteer/expert can contribute new content
related to any of the six specified domains
