HAKFAR HA-YAROKHaKfar HaYarok (“The Green Village”) was founded by Gershon Zack in 1950

and originally was an agricultural village for immigrants.

o Hakfar Hayarok High School is a public school which brings together students from the surrounding cities.

o There are about 1600 students, 12 to 18 years old, studying together in a warm and green environment.

o Some of the students live in the dorms and others use school busing.

The love for nature and animals plays a great role in our village.

We have stables, cowshed ,chicken coop, domestic animals and a visitor center with a mini zoo

also – when you walk along the paths of the school you will see a lot of Peacocks strolling about.

BEIT RAYUSHKA“Beit Rayushka” (“The House of Rayushka”) was built in the memory of Rayushka who was known for her great love for children.

The building is the art center of our school where we study design, music, dancing and film-making .

As you enter the area you can see art sculptures and hear music rehearsal and also…. is just a nice place to hang out.

And in the summer we have our own swimming pool- oh yeah
