In addition, Caritas child

It is difficult to get thechildren to talk directlyabout what they havegone through. When wefirst see them, they areshy and silent. Often,
they will stand in thebackground.

Haitian determination
Robert Cruikshank fromCAFOD recently met a Haitianvolunteer called Flaubert inPort au Prince.
Flaubert had been given workdigging but, the morning aftera conversation with Robertabout sanitation, he arrived atcamp with a full set of
technical drawings of latrines, sketched by torchlight in hismakeshift shelter. He was adraughtsman by trade.
We managed to setup a regular watersupply and built five
latrines but the work,of course, willcontinue.
