SKI TOURING IS MUCH MORE TO US THAN A MERE PHRASE OR TREND. IT IS OUR FOCUS AND OUR PASSION AND HAS BEEN FOR DECADES, SO IT WAS A MORE-OR-LESS LOGICAL STEP TO COMPLETE OUR SKI LINE WITH A BINDING.

COMPETENCE IS IMPORTANT TO US - IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE PUT OUR HEADS TOGETHER WITH ENGINEERS WHO HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TOURING SKI BIND-INGS AT THEIR FINGERTIPS. THIS IS WHY WE WERE ABLE TO BRING A PRODUCT TO PERFECTION THAT HAS DEMANDED A VAST POOL OF KNOW-HOW AND EXPERIENCE OVER A THREE YEAR DEVELOPMENT PERIOD.

1 Double Force - rollers in the release FlanksRollers in the release flanks are along time standard in Alpine bindings for reduc-ing friction between the boot sole and the toe iron. Less friction means less false releases, especially with low Z-settings and in difficult snow conditions.

2 Double Force - release Flanks in the toe pieceWe do have two piece toe parts. This means we can achieve a more precise adjustment to different boot sole geometries as if using one piece toe parts. A valuable side-effect is a more precise lateral release.

3 GliDinG sole supportRubber soles produce a higher friction with their contact surfaces. At worst case they can double the pull-out force for lateral releases. The gliding support reduces this friction in order to keep the setting of the release values at the toe piece constant, even under enormous strain.

4 pivot point step FrameWalking comfort right from the start. This is why we placed the touring pivot in the right position. At the same time we have minimized the use of moving parts that can wear out.

5 carbon reinForceD step FrameA newly developed process allows the integration of two carbon rods in the frame, to meet the demand for highest stability with the lightest weight.

6 lenGth aDjustmentThree binding sizes for a simple and effortless adjustment of sole lengths from 255 to 370 mm with a 55 mm adjusting range. s: 255 – 310 mm m: 285 – 340 mm l: 315 – 370 mm

7 lockinG anD8 climbinG aiDSimple and convenient, secure against accidental opening, made possible by an all new combination of climbing aid and separate locking part. The climbing aid has three different settings and is extremely user-friendly. Any position can be fixed easily with a ski pole. Hoisting limitation can be switched on in climbing mode.

GREAT PROSPECTSA pulsating market sets the pace of change and con-tinual development. Following on from the success-ful launch of our Z01 we have developed the binding further and are bringing improved new models onto the market for the coming season.

>> The new Z01 All Mountain for the technically demanding off-piste freak and the

>> Z02 Tour for the ambitious tourer.

PerformanCe Plus safetyThe Z-Binding models from Hagan are under the constant evaluation scrutiny of our engi-neers to achieve more walking comfort, downhill performance and safety. Safety on the mountain is essential. The double force technology in our bindings takes great care of your walking and skiing ease and of course, your safety. The Double Force functional elements are located in the divided front toe of the ski, in the control rollers, in the pivot point arrangement and in the double carbon reinforcement of the frame. Technical sophistication that makes the bindings safer, lighter and a lot more comfortable.

Striking out in a new dimension. The interaction of the constructive ele-ments with the lateral geometry creates optimal float and torsion values while retaining an outstanding weight /stability balance. A touring freeride ski, light in weight and stable that really shows what it can do in a most thrilling downhill terrain.
