What is a habitat?A habitat is a place where plants and animals live.

A habitat has EVERYTHING a plant or animals needs. ( food, water, air, sunlight, and a shelter)

The water of the oceans is SALTY.Some animals that live in the ocean have some special body parts:

• Sea turtles have FLIPPERS that help them swim.

• Fish use Gills to breathe in the water.

• Dolphins have Blow holes that helpthem breathe air.

The forest is a habitat for living things.

Many different plants, trees and animals live in the forest.

Some animals that live in the desert are: • Rattle snake• Kit fox• Gila Monster• Scorpions
