interested in applying to become a
member of the Muskingum County
4-H Committee should submit a
completed application to the
Extension Office by November 15.
The 4-H Committee serves as an
advisory committee for the 4-H
program and assists with county-
wide 4-H programs like the 4-H
Kick-Off and Volunteer
Recognition Banquet. Applications
are available on our website at 4-H
Youth Development>Volunteer
Resources and at the Extension
Office.

Volunteers with a Break in
Service
Reminder: If a 4-H volunteer has a
break in service, that individual is
no longer considered an approved
4-H volunteer. A break in service
means a volunteer did not complete
a volunteer enrollment in 2018 or
stopped volunteering in an
approved 4-H volunteer capacity
for a year or more.
When a break in service occurs, the
individual must reapply as a New
4-H Volunteer and complete the
entire volunteer selection process in
order to become an approved 4-H
volunteer who is able to work with
the 4-H program.
Reminder: Minimum
Number of Club Volunteers
Required
Each 4-H club is required to have
a minimum of two approved 4-H
volunteers. Some clubs might need
to recruit some new volunteers to
complete the 4-H Volunteer
Selection Process.
Reminder: Mandatory
Volunteer Training
Organizational volunteers will need
to make sure that in addition to
themselves, each of their other club
volunteers, including Cloverbud
volunteers, attend a Mandatory 4-H
Volunteer Training to maintain
their volunteer status in 2019.
Watch for more details to come
soon!
