Eligibility:

Any player from anywhere can participate in this event.

Entry Fee:

For GMs, IMs, WGMs, WIMs: Free

For all other players:

Rs.5,000 (With A/c dormitory accommodation)

Rs.4,000 (Without any accommodation)

No request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be entertained.

Please note that a Tax @ 20.6% (as per Indian income tax regulations) will be deducted from the prize money to be awarded to Foreign Players.

Please note that one player will be given one (higher) prize only.

Tournament Rules System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds. Time Control: 90 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1 for entire game. Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however will not be shared. Accommodation: All GMs will be provided free A/c hotel room accommodation on double sharing basis. All IMs/WGMs/WIMs will be provided free A/c hotel room accommodation on double/triple sharing basis. All other participants will be provided free A/c dormitory accommodation for entire duration of the event, i.e. 18th Nov. 6:00 am to 22nd Nov. 12:00 Noon. Accommodation Charges for Accompanying person(s) Will be Rs. 1200/- per person.Hotel Surya: Executive Room rate on triple occupation is Rs. 1900/- (Incl. taxes) per day per Room without breakfast. www.hotelsurya.com

GENERAL INFORMATION

Entry Form: It is mandatory to forward the entry form in the given format for accepting the entries along with prescribed entry fee. The organizing Committee has the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason.

AICF Registration: All Indian players must be registered with AICF before the registration deadline to participate in the tournament. All players have to forward proof of registration along with entry. Those who not registered with AICF, has to forward their duly filled AICF Registration form with fee of Rs.250 need to be send along with tournament registration form.

Weather: The Weather in Vadodara during November is expected to be normal. The minimum / maximum temperature will be around 21/24 Degree Celsius.
