Transcript of H hundred
Ukrainian history is very unique. The story of Ukraine is intersected by the history of its many neighboring countries, because of this Ukraine has experienced many changes throughout its history, yet it has still maintained a certain national identity that makes it
distinctively Ukrainian. One can discuss, one can argue, but our past cannot be hanged. Ukrainian history has many things to be proud of and we
look forward to the happy future of the independent Ukraine.
UNFORGETTABLE PAGE OF UKRAINIAN HISTORY
The Ukrainian revolution of February 2014 (also known as the Euromaidan Revolution or Revolution of Dignity) took place after a series of violent events involving protesters, riot police and unknown shooters in capital Kiev that resulted in the ousting of then President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych.
Revolution of
Dignity
As predominantly Christian country, Ukraine has its long tradition of martyrs. The activists of Heaven Hundred are often viewed as celestial patrons who invisibly stay on Guard of Ukraine, they are the people somewhere there “on the other side” or “in another world”. They pray the Lord and Holy Virgin for us.
On September 11, 2015 the first in Ukraine Museum of Heavenly Hundred was opened in Ivano-Frankivsk. The ceremony was attended by the family members of the Heroes of Heavenly
Hundred from all over Ukraine.
The designer of the Museum is Roman Bonchuk, a known Ivano-Frankivsk artist.

A 30-meter mural depicting the dramatic events in the capital and the portraits of the perished Heroes of Heavenly Hundred above it are the central exhibits of the Museum.
