Newsletter Term 1 Week 10 Wednesday 31st March 2021
This is the last newsletter for Term 1. I wanted to wish everyone a happy
and safe holiday. Thank you to those parents who have been able to
attend the meetings with their child’s teacher. The teachers have
valued your input.
Easter Hat Parade/Raffles
We are egg-cited about tomorrow’s Easter Hat Parade at GPS.
The parade will start at 1:45 on our top oval. Easter Raffles will be
drawn throughout the parade.
Please ensure you visit the office first if you are coming to pick up your child early for an
appointment or you are delivering something to your child that they may have forgotten
to pack. Please do not go directly to the classroom.
NAPLAN Online 2021
The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a point in time
assessment of literacy and numeracy skills that are essential for every child to progress
through school and life. Students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 participate in the annual NAPLAN
tests in writing, reading, conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
and numeracy. Our students will be sitting the tests on the 11th, 12th and 13th of May.
