The future will bring exciting changes to the GateWay campus both physically and programmatically. New campus facilities including a Student Services Center, a Library/Computer Commons, Classrooms, and a Corporate Conference Center will accommodate a growing population of students.

A unique component of the College’s master plan is a bioscience incubator that will house start-up companies and create a dynamic model for academic resources and business support services. It will provide affordable office and research space for scientists and

entrepreneurs in the bioscience community, as well as an array of support services to aid in the long-term success of incubator companies. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working side-by-side with researchers in the incubator, resulting in a distinctive model for education and workforce training.

The College will welcome the METRO Light Rail to campus and has plans for private development including retail and restaurants to support ridership and create a destination spot for students and the community at large.

FutureNew and enhanced programs including a Clinical Research Associate’s Degree, advanced efforts in rapid prototyping, and courses in biotechnology are being implemented to meet growing industry demands.

The planning process for new and enhanced campus facilities and amenities has begun, with building construction anticipated to being in 2009. GateWay’s transformation will result in a dynamic environment for education, business, and civic engagement and will meet the revolutionary needs of the community for years to come.
