Close to London Bridge, on the south bank of the Thames about 20 minute’s walk from Waterloo, is the Guy’s Campus, adjacent to Guy’s Hospital. Much of this campus has been recently remodelled and refurbished, with new students’ union facilities and a major new building, New Hunt’s House,

providing state-of-the-art lecture, teaching, library, laboratory and research facilities. This campus is located in an increasingly fashionable area, with many bars, restaurants, markets and creative businesses springing up locally. Nearby are Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern, City Hall, Hay’s Galleria and Borough Market, one of the oldest wholesale fruit and vegetable markets.
