Staff and students would like to welcome Ms. Emily Bell who will be replacing Ms. Kelso for the remainder of the year. Mrs. Simpson will be going on maternity leave at the end of this week, Mrs. Eddy will replace Mrs. Simpson on Tuesdays. We would also like to welcome Ms. Lyn Appleby who will be completing her Practice Teaching with us. Thank you to all the students and parents who attended the Anzac Day March. We have had many positive comments from the public on how smart our school looked at the march and Service. Thank you to Hamish and Lauren for laying the wreath during the service. Last Friday all students travelled to the Cross Country at Tingha. This was the Small Schools’ Cross Country and it was all about participation and doing your best. Congratulations to those students who have qualified for Zone to be held at Ashford on the 20th May, 2016, students will be doing additional training for PE, but we encourage students to do some train- ing at home, as the course is tough at Ashford. A permission note will be sent home next week. Private transport will be needed for this event. Thank you for your support with private transport. Grip Leadership—tomorrow Mr. King and Mrs. Hackney will transport students to the Grip Leadership course in Armidale. This leadership course is designed to assist senior students with their leadership roles and also to help them in their transition to high school. Students need to wear their winter uniform—blue jeans, green shirt and to take their school jumper with them, as it is Armidale weather. Names on Clothing– please make sure all your school clothing has your named marked on it, the lost property basket is full of uniforms with no owners. It is up to students to look for their clothing if they loose it around the school. Zone Touch Trials– congratulations to Jarrod White and Cooper Taveira who will attend the Zone Touch trials this Friday. Good luck boys. Library Books– library day is each Thursday; please bring your books in each Thursday. There are students with very overdue library books, please return these this week. Attached to this newsletter is a library overdue notice for these books. If you cannot find the books and they are totally lost, an account will be sent home for the replacement of the book..

2016 Term Two

Welcome back to a very busy Term Two. Staff and students would like to welcome Ms. Emily

School Accounts– attached to this newsletter is your Statement of Account. The accounts have any outstanding

Stationery Levies and Excursions costs. Please note that excursion fees are not due and payable now, but if parents

choose, they may make partial payments during the term.
