Tata’s INR One-lakh (US$2100) Nano Car project (world’s

cheapest car) is all set to be launched from Sanand near

Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Project details:

Estimated investment INR 2,000 Cr (US$450million)

Mother plant to come over 1,100 acres of land

Capacity of 5,00,000 units

10,000 people will be directly and indirectly employed

Infrastructure worth Rs100Cr (US$25Million) including

roads, power, drainage, water, effluent treatment plant to

be developed by Gujarat Industrial Development Board
