Guidelines for Citizen Portal

To avail services of Citizens portal, type gujhome.gujarat.gov.in in your browser and press enter. You will

be directed to screen as shown below:

1. Home Page

Home Page screen will look like one shown above where you can avail different services among the list

shown. You can view the website in both English as well as Gujarati language.

Home Page will display the list of different services. You need to register yourself on Citizen Portal to avail

any service, only “Get a copy of FIR” service can be used without registering. For all other services,

registration is compulsory. Once registration is completed, you can use any service by entering User Name

and Password. In case you forgot your password, you can reset it by clicking on Forgot Password.

2. Login/Registration

To register on Citizen Portal, click on Login/Registration tab. You will see screen as displayed below.

Registration: By clicking on Registration, below screen will displayed.

As displayed, to create new account enter Username, Password, select the security question and enter its

answer. Thereafter fill the personal details like First Name, Last Name, Date of birth, Address, Mobile

Number, e-mail address, etc. Upload the ID proof, enter the ID number, accept the user agreement and

complete the registration process.

Login: After completing registration on Citizen Portal, click on Login/Registration tab to Login. Enter the

Username and Password. After Login, you can avail all available services.

Password Reset: In case you don’t remember the password, you can click on “Forgot Password” to reset

it. Answer the security question that was set by yourself during registration to reset password.

Once the security question is answered successfully, you will be able to set the new password.

Home

As per the above screen Click on the icon to avail the service which is to be used from the services listed

above.

F.I.R search

As mentioned earlier, to avail this service registration is not required. User can click on “Get a copy of

F.I.R”. After clicking, it will direct yourself to the screen as shown below.

To get a copy of F.I.R, fill in all details and click on generate report. Screen will be displayed as below.

You can view as well as download the F.I.R

e-Application

If you want to submit any application, you don’t have to visit any Police Station now. Citizen Portal will let

you file an application/information online. Using E-application, citizen can submit an application for any

crime that has happened to them and also can provide information regarding any crime directly to Police

Station. For submitting online application, click on “e-Application”.

As displayed in the image above, to submit e-Application fill in all the mandatory fields like Incident

Occurrence Place, Complaint type, Incident date and time, brief description of incident, relevant police

station and attach supporting documents if any. Click on “submit” to submit your application. Fields

marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which application cannot be submitted.

Report Missing/Stolen Property

If you want to file an application regarding the missing/stolen property without visiting police station, you

can click on “Report Missing/Stolen Property” option from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to report missing or stolen property details fill all the mandatory fields

like place where property went missing, date and time when property was found missing, brief description

of missing property and attach supporting documents if any. Click on “submit” to submit your report.

Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which report cannot be submitted.

Report Missing Person

As the name suggests, use this service to report the missing person. Click on “Report Missing Person” on

Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, fill in all the details of the missing person like First Name, Surname,

Gender, Age (approx.), Date From, Date To, religion, height, weight, build, hair, face, religion, complexion,

marks on body, etc. Click on “submit” to submit your report. Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill

without which report cannot be submitted.

Domestic Servant Registration

For registration of domestic servant, you can click on “Domestic Servant Registration” on Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, fill in all the information like Domestic Servant Details, Address Details

and Previous employer details. Click on “submit” to submit your application. Fields marked as “*” are

mandatory to fill without which application cannot be submitted.

Driver Registration

For registration of driver, you can click on “Driver Registration” on Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, fill in all the information like Driver Details, Driver’s Address Details,

Previous employer detail and License Details. Click on “submit” to submit your application. Fields marked

as “*” are mandatory to fill without which application cannot be submitted.

Senior Citizen Registration

Person who are above the age of 60 years can register themselves on Citizen Portal. So that senior citizens

who are living alone, can be provided any type of help when needed through the details provided by them

on this portal. To register as Senior Citizen click on “Senior Citizen Registration” on Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to register as Senior citizen fill in all the required details like spouse

details, relative/servant details and attach the photo proof. Click on “submit” to submit your registration.

Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which registration cannot be submitted.

Tenant Registration

If you want to register the tenant living on your property, you can use this service. Click on the “Tenant

Registration” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, for tenant registration fill in all the details like Property Owner details,

tenant details, tenant address and other declaration. Click on “submit” to submit your registration. Fields

marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which registration cannot be submitted.

Apply for NOC (No Objection Certificate)

To apply for NOC, click on “Apply for NOC” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to apply for NOC fill in all the details like NOC for, NOC purpose, Name

of district, name of Police Station and attach the document required. Click on “submit” to submit your

application. Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which registration cannot be application.

Police Verification Certificate

Police verification that is required for Visa/Immigration/PR can be applied by clicking on “Police

Verification Certificate” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to apply for police verification certificate fill in all the details like City,

police station, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, address, purpose and attach the required

document. Click on “submit” to submit your application. Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without

which registration cannot be application.

Search Arrested/Wanted Person

If any information is required regarding arrested/wanted person, click on “Search Arrested/Wanted

Person” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to search for arrested/wanted person fill in all the details and click on

Generate Report. Columns that should be displayed in the report can also be controlled by

checking/unchecking the column. Fields marked as “*” are mandatory to fill without which report cannot

be generated.

Search Unidentified Dead Body

To generate report on unidentified dead body, click on “Search Unidentified Dead Body” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, fill in all the details and click on Generate Report. Fields marked as “*”

are mandatory to fill without which report cannot be generated.

Search Stolen/Recovered Property

To search any stolen/recovered property during a duration provided as From date and To date, click on

“Search Stolen/Recovered Property” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to search stolen/recovered property fill in details district, property type,

police station and to and from date. Click on “Search” to get the full list. Fields marked as “*” are

mandatory to fill without which report cannot be generated.

Search Missing Person

In order to get list of missing person, click on “Search Missing Person” from Home Page.

As displayed in the above image, to search missing person fill in details required to generate the report.

Columns that should be displayed in the report can also be controlled by checking/unchecking the column.

My Request List

To know the status of applications submitted by user through Citizen Portal and status of steps taken by

respective police station on your application can be known from My Request List.
