Shop shelving is a modular shelving system from which a vast number of shelving bays can be configured using quite a small number of different components. The basic shop shelving components are as follows:

Shop Shelving Uprights

• Shelving Uprights are available in two depths, 60mm standard duty and 80mm heavy duty. For large shelves, tall shelving units and heavy loading the 80mm uprights should be used

Wall Fixing brackets should be used for all shelving bays over 2.1m tall and for high loadings and deep shelves.

Shelving Base Legs

• Shelving base legs slot into the uprights and create a platform for the base shelf to sit on. The base legs have adjustable feet for levelling the shelving bay. On the front of the base legs are slots for the plinth or kicker.

• Shelving base legs are available in cream RAL9001 and silver RAL9006

Shop Shelves

• Shop shelves are available in 4 widths, 665, 800, 1000 and 1250mm

• Shelf depths are available in 200, 250, 300, 370, 470, 570 and 670mm

• The front of the shelf has a lip to hold the epos pricing strip• There is a grove near the front and rear of the shelf surface

for holding shelving risers and dividers• Underneath the shelf there are reinforcing bars to give the

shelf load capacity, some competitors shelving have reduced the number of these bars to reduce costs – we haven’t!

• The base shelf and upper shelves are the same.

Shop Shelving Brackets

• Shop shelving brackets are designed to be set either horizontal or sloping so that the shelves can be tilted forward to enhance the displays.

• The shelving brackets are available in a heavier duty 3 hook version for the larger sizes.

Shelving Back Panels

• Shelving back panels slot into the shelving uprights and give the shelving bay structure.• Back panels are available in 100mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm heights• The total height of back panels required is 110mm less than the upright height.• Back Panels are available as plain, perforated (pegboard) and Slatted (Slatwall).• The different types of back panels can be mixed on the shelving bay, it is quite common to

have a mixture of plain and pegboard back panels.
