A detailed guide on how to secure your most private files, using a file security software, known as

“Folder Lock”

Step one

Download and install Folder Lock version

7.1.0 from www.newsoftwares.net

Go through the setup process, and set a

strong password for yourself.

Step two

Run Folder Lock 7, by double clicking on the shortcut icon located

on your desktop.

Then enter your master password to access its security

features.

Step three

Once you have entered your password successfully, you

should be able to use all file security features on Folder

Lock 7

Now, simply drag and drop your private files and folders onto Folder Lock’s interface

and your files will automatically be locked and

hidden by default.

Step four

To secure your files with password protected

encrypted lockers, you’ll need to click on the “Encrypt Files” tab

Now press the “Create Locker” Tab, then select a name for that locker and

the location where it should be saved, now you’ll

be prompted to set-up a master password for your

new lockers.

Step five

A new locker should successfully be created.

Now , simply double click on the newly created

locker, enter your password, and a virtual drive should appear on your desktop. Simply

choose the files you want to protect and drag them

into the virtual drive.

Step six

After you have added all your private files into the encrypted locker you’ll

need to close it.

Right click on the locker and select the option

“Close” this should close your encrypted locker and you can finally exit Folder

Lock application.
