Guatemala Missions-Colegio Mark School Guatemala Missions-Colegio Mark School In the early 1980’s the Career Class from Colonial Presbyterian (Kansas City) ventured to Guatemala in search of a mission to support. Their search ended when they arrived in Cantel in the highland mountain region ( 5-6 hour drive from Guatemala City). There they met Pastor Pablo Poz Pum who had been praying for financial means to keep his small Christian school open. Later, under the direction of Pastor Phil Truesdale the support to the school was increased, leading to the expansion, and construction of the present, state of the art facility. Pastor Phil now leads 50 to 100 people on short-term mission trips to the school on a yearly basis. These missions include: medical, dental, and eye care, physical therapy, library development, computer lab, and Vacation Bible School. Presently, the 450 children at Colegio Mark school obtain an education the rivals any in all of Guatemala. The current

Presently, the 450 children at Colegio Mark school obtain an education the rivals any in all of Guatemala. The current mayor of Cantel(2008) is a graduate of the school. We are excited about what God is doing and the future of Colegio Mark School.
