PowerCam

A portable, install almost anywhere, video surveillance system

suited to any IP camera – traditional, bullet, dome a PTZ - easily

and quickly installed using magnetic mounts.

Just mount the camera and transmission unit (Tx), plug it into a

mains outlet and away you go!

Each IP camera has its own unique IP address to identify it on the network. The camera connects to a

Powerline Adapter (PLA) – located n the transmission unit (Tx) - the Tx unit utilises the existing mains grid

cabling the send the TCP-IP video data packets.

A second PLA – located in the reception unit (Rx) also connected to the mains grid cabling - receives the video

TCP-IP data packets.

The output from the Rx unit can be fed directly to a PC by a Cat5 ethernet cable or it can be connected to a

wireless router.

PCs can connect to the router wirelessly, by ethernet cable or by using an ethernet bridge, this allows for

mobility when using a tablet PC or smart device.

Video management software gives the operator choices on how the video is presented – full screen, or in

grid formation.

The PLA transmission units have enough bandwidth to accommodate numerous cameras with PTZ control if

required.

Magnetic mounts allow for easy deployment in most cases.

A network attached digital video recorder can be connected to the router.

The camera feeds can be accessed by the internet for remote viewing if required.

For 3 phase mains networks a phase coupler is used to ensure ALL the PLAs communicate over the network.
