Six-year bodyshell integrity guaranteeThe guarantee extends to the following items:-Body leaks and delamination: water ingressthrough any permanently sealed seam joints ordelamination of panels and floor, being part of theoriginal manufacturer’s construction.The manufacturer will honour the guarantee for 72 months from the date of purchase, providedthat the caravan has had an Annual Serviceincluding a damp meter test, within 90 days beforeor 60 days after each anniversary of the originaldate of purchase (or hire purchase). The sixthAnnual Service must, however, be carried outbefore the expiry of the 72 month period from theoriginal date of purchase (or hire purchase).

Three-year SuperSure manufacturer’s warrantyThe manufacturer will honour the warranty for 36 months from the date of purchase (or hirepurchase), provided that the caravan has had anAnnual Service within 90 days before or 60 daysafter each anniversary of the original date ofpurchase (or hire purchase). The third AnnualService must, however, be carried out before theexpiry of the 36 month period from the originaldate of purchase (or hire purchase).

In the first 12 months thewarranty will cover:

Faults arising from a manufacturing defect but notthose which are a result of normal wear and tear orthose which relate to replacement light bulbs.

Also not covered under the first year are faultsresulting from accidental damage or damage causedby misuse of any component part of the caravan.

In the years two and three the warranty will cover:

1 All original components of the caravan includingpermanently fitted equipment* forming part of themanufacturer's original specification.

2 Water ingress and body delamination.

Complete customer satisfaction is always a top priority at Abbey and thequality ethos extends to the after sales service and market-leadingmanufacturer’s warranty package that comes with every new Abbey caravan.This is designed to give customers confidence in the latest generation oftouring caravans.

All Swift Group models have been certified by the National CaravanCouncil for compliance with stringent European Standards, BritishLegislation and industry set Codes of Practice specifically relating to health and safety issues. The approval process covers the testing andinspection of critical areas of the product from fire safety, weights anddimensions, to gas, electrics and ventilation. Every Abbey caravancarries the "NCC Approved Caravan" badge. The NCC also conductunannounced inspections at the Swift Group factory to ensurecontinued compliance. NCC Approval gives you peace of mind thatyour caravan is legal and safe.

For added security all Abbey caravans come registered with theCaravan Registration and Identification Scheme (CRiS), the UK’sofficial database of caravans and their keepers. Abbey caravans notonly carry the unique 17 digit CRiS Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)die stamped into the chassis, but windows are also etched with theVIN and there is an electronic tag embedded within the bodywork forextra security. Specialist insurance companies increasingly requireregistration with CRiS before granting cover and when you come tosell your caravan your CRiS registration will prove invaluable.
