Founded in 1871, Fargo is the largest city in the U.S. state of North Dakota and is the home of Case IH’s Steiger production facility.

The Steiger story began in 1957 when John Steiger built a high-horsepower tractor for his Red Lake Falls farm. The Steiger family built more than 100 tractors before opening a manufacturing facility in Fargo in 1969. In 1986, Steiger was purchased by Case IH and today the plant manufactures several models of Steiger tractors.

Dine amongst historic aircraft at The Fargo Air Museum. The Fargo Air Museum is unique in that most of the planes are still in flying condition. The museum includes many historic aircraft including a full-scale replica of a Wright brothers’ flyer.

This is also a hands-on museum so you are welcome to climb up in and pretend to pilot aircraft such as the Huey Helicopter!
