GST Readiness

for Marg Users

Before GST

Update Marg ERP 9+ Software From

http://www.margcompusoft.com/downloads.aspx

Update the information of your own organization with address and GSTIN

information.

Go on Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room > Search

for ‘commodity’> go on the option > ‘HSN

Code/Commodity wise Stock/ Search’ > change

‘Commodity’ name to ‘HSN/SAC’ & set that option to Y.

Create HSN/SAC Code Master (Go to Masters>>Inventory Master>>HSN/SAC Master)

Enter Tax % ,By Pressing F2 Function Key

You can export your items in Excel format

and update the HSN Code & GST Tax Rates

in excel sheet in order to import it in Marg

ERP 9+ Software after GST Activation ie on

(1st July, 2017)

1. Go to Masters >>Ease of GST Adoption>> GST% &

HSN/SAC Updation

2. Enter on Accept

Press F10 Function Key for Exporting the HSN Code

Item List in Excel Format

Here You will Define the Path where you will Export your Excel

i.e. Marg Folder >>Reports

Folder>>Excel Sheet will get exported

In this way you can export your items in Excel format and Update

the HSN Code, SGST, CGST & IGST in this Excel Sheet

Step 5

You can Export your Customers list in Excel

& update their GST No & State Code in it in

order to import it in Marg ERP 9+ Software

after GST Activation ie on (1st July, 2017)

1. Go to Masters >>Ease of GST Adoption>> Party GST

No/ State Updation

In this way you can export your Customers list in Excel format and Update the GST & State Code in it

Update Proper Address for Customer’s &

Supplier’s Ledger

Go to Masters >>Ledger Master
