    Bartender (recommended) Bartender is best used if you are printing your labels to thermal transfer

    printers. Bartender was designed specifically to create labels. Not a report writer like

    Crystal. Bartender offers several other Barcode fonts like code 128 not just the code

    39 fonts that come with the Global Shop software. You must have the Business Intelligence and the GSLabelWriter module.

    Crystal Reports Crystal Reports is best used when you are printing your labels to a laser

    printer either to plain paper or to standard Avery labels. Requires the Business Intelligence module.

    3. The best way to get ready for inventory with GSS wireless is to start labeling:

    B. Inventory > Print > Cycle Count Worksheet by Bin (recommended report)

    A. Leave cycle count dates blank if not using GSS cycle counting system

    2. Use barcode scanners to count the inventory

    i. Count collects to count file in real-time (count is later imported and posted to adjust on-hand inventory)

    2) Select by PL/Loc range ;

    3) Adds part/lot/bin/heat/serial records to variance report at zero quantity

    4) Will zero part/lot/bin for uncounted parts/item records when updated

    3. If not checked then will only adjust count for what is already in the INV_PHYS_VAR table.
